Let Your Heart Shine!
November 18, 2010
“Appreciation can make a day. Even change a life.
Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.”
~Margaret Cousins
Take a moment and think about the last time you expressed your appreciation to someone…
Who was it?

What did you say?
What was the response?
What were the physical sensations you noticed?
Expressing gratitude is a courageous act of vulnerability. In the moment of sharing appreciation, we open up and reveal a piece of our tender heart and our authentic selves shine through.
When we take the risk, a rich, vibrant, human connection is made – even if the moment is fleeting. What a gift!
In the week ahead, practice random acts of gratitude! Each day, look someone in the eye, express your appreciation and feel your heart shine.

Today I renewed my commitment to a simple practice of gratitude. I started the day by writing down 3 things for which I am grateful and I am committed to do this simple practice for 40 days. Hopefully by then it will become a daily habit!
te my birthday and my wedding anniversary, too. My birthday gives me the chance to appreciate all the gifts in my life. My anniversary allows me to stop and appreciate my soul mate and the relationship we have been cultivating for over 20 years. I get a lot of practice being thankful in November!
